DâElia (SSDC and INAF-OAR) report on behalf of GRAvitational Wave Inaf TeAm (GRAWITA):\n\nWe report the classification of spectroscopic observations of GOTO23hn (Gompertz et al., GCN #33979; Strausbaugh et al., GCN 34020), one of the GOTO candidate counterparts of the LIGO/Virgo event S230615az. The LBT/MODS spectrum has been obtained at the mid-time 04:33 UT on 2023-06-21, 5.7 days after the GW trigger, for a total on-source time of 1200 s, covering the wavelength range 3200-10000 AA as described in Rossi et al. (GCN #34061), where we measure a spectroscopic redshift of z=0.0929 for the host galaxy. \n\nThe spectra display a strong SII line, indicative of a SN Ia. Using the SNID software (Blondin & Tonry 2007), the best match is found with SN 1993ac at about 7 days after maximum. Multiband photometry was also collected and a preliminary analysis gives r=19.015 +-0.014 and g=18.856+- 0.008, AB mag.\n\nWe acknowledge the excellent support from the LBTO and LBT-INAF staff, particularly D. Melandri et al., GCN 34058) errorbox 24809 sec after notice time and 25243 sec after trigger time at 2023-06-22 17:05:04 UT, with upper limit up to 17.1 mag. The observations began at zenith distance = 84 deg. "message_text": " reports on behalf of the Swift-XRT team:\n\nWe have analysed 3.9 ks of XRT data for GRB 230622A, from 383 s to 27.0\nks after the BAT trigger. The data are entirely in Photon Counting\n(PC) mode. Chastain (UNM) on behalf of the PanRadio GRB collaboration\n\nThe Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) rapidly performed radio observations of the long GRB 230622A (Melandri et al. GCN 34058) at 5.5 and 9 GHz as part of the Large ATCA âPanRadio GRBâ follow-up programme C3542 (PI. Anderson). ATCA was on target observing at 11:30 UT, just 1.5 hrs post-burst and observed for 10 hrs. Only 4 of the usual 6 antennas were available. Due to poor observing conditions, only ~6 hrs of data at each frequency were imaged. There is no radio source coincident with the enhanced XRT position (Evans et al. GCN 34069) with a 3 sigma upper limit of 54 and 48 microJy/beam at 5.5 and 9.0 GHz, respectively. Automated analysis of the XRT data will\nbe presented online at http://www.swift.ac.uk/xrt_products/TILED_GRB00114\n\nAny uncatalogued X-ray sources detected in this analysis will be\nreported on this website and via GCN COUNTERPART notices. "message_text": "The IceCube Collaboration (http://icecube.wisc.edu/) reports:\n\nIceCube has performed a search [1] for additional track-like muon neutrino events arriving from the direction of IceCube-Cascade 230622A (https://gcn.gsfc.nasa.gov/notices_amon_icecube_cascade/138069_72184188.amon) in a time range of 1000 seconds centered on the alert event time (2023-06-22 09:50:36.530 UTC to 2023-06-22 10:07:16.530 UTC) during which IceCube was collecting good quality data. Excluding the event that prompted the alert, zero track-like events are found within the 90% containment region of IceCube-Cascade 230622A. The IceCube sensitivity to neutrino point sources with an E^-2.5 spectrum (E^2 dN/dE at 1 TeV) within the locations spanned by the 90% spatial containment region of IceCube-Cascade 230622A is 1.8e-01 GeV cm^-2 in a 1000 second time window. 90% of events IceCube would detect from a source at this declination with an E^-2.5 spectrum have energies in the approximate energy range between 2e+02 GeV and 3e+04 GeV.\n\nA subsequent search was performed including 2 days of data centered on the alert event time (2023-06-21 09:58:56.530 UTC to 2023-06-23 09:58:56.530 UTC). In this case, we report a p-value of 0.62, consistent with no significant excess of track events. The IceCube sensitivity to neutrino point sources with an E^-2.5 spectrum (E^2 dN/dE at 1 TeV) within the locations spanned by the 90% spatial containment region of IceCube-Cascade 230622A is 2.1e-01 GeV cm^-2 in a 2 day time window.\n\nThe IceCube Neutrino Observatory is a cubic-kilometer neutrino detector operating at the geographic South Pole, Antarctica. "message_text": "The LIGO Scientific Collaboration, the Virgo Collaboration, and the\nKAGRA Collaboration report:\n\nWe identified the compact binary merger candidate S230624av during\nreal-time processing of data from LIGO Hanford Observatory (H1) and\nLIGO Livingston Observatory (L1) at 2023-06-24 11:31:03.770 UTC (GPS\ntime: 1371641481.770). The candidate was found by the CWB [1], MBTA\n[2], GstLAL [3], and SPIIR [4] analysis pipelines.\n\nS230624av is an event of interest because its false alarm rate, as\nestimated by the online analysis, is 1.3e-08 Hz, or about one in 2\nyears. The event's properties can be found at this URL:\n\nhttps://gracedb.ligo.org/superevents/S230624av\n\nThe classification of the GW signal, in order of descending\nprobability, is BBH (95%), Terrestrial (5%), BNS (<1%), or NSBH (<1%).\n\nAssuming the candidate is astrophysical in origin, the probability\nthat the lighter compact object is consistent with a neutron star mass\n(HasNS) is <1%. [5] Using the masses and spins inferred from the\nsignal, the probability of matter outside the final compact object\n(HasRemnant) is <1%. [5] Both HasNS and HasRemnant consider the\nsupport of several neutron star equations of state. The probability\nthat any one of the binary components lie between 3 to 5 solar mass\n(HasMassgap) is <1%.\n\nTwo sky maps are available at this time and can be retrieved from the\nGraceDB event page:\n * bayestar.multiorder.fits,0, an initial localization generated by\nBAYESTAR [6], distributed via GCN notice about 31 seconds after the\ncandidate event time.\n * bayestar.multiorder.fits,1, an initial localization generated by\nBAYESTAR [6], distributed via GCN notice about 5 minutes after the\ncandidate event time.\n\nThe preferred sky map at this time is bayestar.multiorder.fits,1. For\nthe bayestar.multiorder.fits,1 sky map, the 90% credible region is\n1718 deg2. Kennea (PSU), Tyler Parsotan (NASA GSFC) report: \n\nSwift/BAT did not localize GRB 230623B onboard (T0: 2023-06-23T21:22:34.5 UTC, GECAM trig 195).\n\nThe GECAM notice, distributed in near real-time, triggered the Swift Mission Operations Center operated Gamma-ray Urgent Archiver for Novel Opportunities (GUANO; Tohuvavohu et al. 2020, ApJ, 900, 1). \n\nUpon trigger by this notice, GUANO sent a command to the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) to save 200 seconds of BAT event-mode data from [-50,+150] seconds around the time of the burst.
